Know which GCs are bidding your FDOT projects, before bid day.
Every FDOT letting publishes a list of the contractors who pulled plans. We read it, work out which projects contain your trade, and introduce you to their estimators, from your own email address, with your approval.
The problem is not finding the projects
FDOT lets about 57 contracts a month. You could read the list yourself, and you probably do. The work you cannot do by hand is everything after that:
- Reading several hundred pages of specifications per project to find out whether your trade is actually in there, and in what quantity.
- Pulling the planholder list before FDOT removes it, which happens roughly five business days before the bid opens.
- Finding the estimator at each of the ~90 firms holding plans, and getting a specific, useful note in front of them while they are still assembling numbers.
Done properly that is somewhere north of 40 hours a month of admin. Most subs skip it and quote the five or six GCs who already call them.

We self-perform long-line striping and RPM installation, so this would be quoted as one package rather than split out.

What this covers, and what it does not
FDOT and Florida state work. That is roadway and civil: striping, guardrail, MOT and traffic control, signals, drainage, earthwork, asphalt, signing, erosion control, fencing, landscaping.
Not county or municipal work. We cover FDOT and Florida state solicitations. If your work is mostly vertical building trades on county jobs, this is not the right tool and we would rather tell you now than take a month of your money finding out.
